Passage Options for this search
The passage search options allow you to turn on and off identifiers (e.g. footnote markers, verse numbers) and change the formatting of the text. You can turn on and off the following: Footnotes Cross-references Book-chapter-verse abbreviations – At the beginning of paragraphs or verses, depending on which mode is selected Show blank line after paragraphs – Applies only when "By Paragraph" is selected
There are also two format options for the Bible text:
By Paragraph: Verses will be placed in paragraph form, and poetry will be displayed as poetry.
By Verse: Each verse starts on a new line, and no formatting is applied. Select this to line verses up with each other when viewing multiple translations.
